Is a guaranteed daily benefit worth a small chance of a bigger problem?

I like this idea, with one caveat. On the plus side, it organizes shoes and follows the Japanese strategy of keeping the house cleaner by keeping those dirty shoes away from clean floors.

But what if someone falls and injures themselves on one of those hooks?

Is the guaranteed daily benefit of a cleaner home worth the small chance of a bigger problem, like an injury and a lawsuit?

The cubby hole idea takes up more room, but then again, they are less likely to cause any injury.
